Birmingham Premiere LUX Cine GSX & Pizza Pub

This is a nice, clean movie theater. The pizza is good and reasonably priced. We were told someone would bring the food to the entrance of the room we were in. However, this did not happen and I had to go pick up the food. Just a heads up if you order something there. The variety of soft drinks was great. The lounge chairs are nice and comfortable, but the slope of the theater is different than any other movie theater I've been in. The angle was a bit too much and the table kept sliding away from me while trying to eat the pizza. I had to hold it with one hand so it would remain in place. Other than those minor annoyances, I enjoyed the experience.

We were excited to try this theatre ! Unfortunately it disappointed. We went on a Saturday evening. The lobby was super dirty. I used the restroom prior to the show and it was dirty with wastebaskets overflowing, tissue all over the floors d very little paper towel to use. The theatre wasn’t really very busy either. When we entered our specific theatre the seats were strewn with popcorn , there were chairs that were completely broken and almost sideways. Trays were greasy. Fabric was split on the seats. The seat I was assigned did not recline or move. Luckily I moved and there were only 5 people to see that showing. The seats are not at an incline- so when you do lean back you see the tops of the seats in front of you - unless you’re super tall. I’m not. So they didn’t clean the Theatre before the movie – I understand that everybody is struggling to find help these days. After the movie I had to use the restroom again and it was even dirtier. The lobby was empty with no employees visible - so they were definitely not cleaning bathrooms. Bummer. Won’t return.

Very nice theater. Staff is very friendly and hardly any waiting times in line. The individual theaters are always kept up and never dirty upon entrance. The cocktail bar and bartender is very welcomed experience in itself. Seats are comfy in any theater. I did prefer the larger one but the smaller ones are just as good without the DBox seating. I did find one theater room to have a few chairs in bed of repair but overall experience was not any less.

I came here for the first time 6/26 on my birthday. It was a Monday and watched the transformers. The theater was clean, staff nice, the wings and pizza was fresh and delicious. My boyfriend and I enjoyed it so much that we came back today to see the flash 6:15p. We ordered wings and pizza again. Granted the place was busy the service I received was horrible. The drink station was out of mostly all bevs from each machine, the area was dirty as hell and it stayed that way well after I was leaving. By the ticket area was about 5 staff (kids) only one working and they were just horse playing, cursing, talking about customers etc. when my food arrived the 12 piece I ordered were ice cold in the middle . I returned them and asked for them hot. When I got them it was only a 6 piece so I had to wait again because they didn’t know about the other half. This was at 7, at 8 I went up to the Counter to get my wings they said oh it must have been sent to another movie room!!! I didn’t receive the other half of my wings until 10 minutes before my movie ended. When I was walking to the counter to ask about my wings two of the staff(kids) were spraying each other with chemicals from spray bottles and cursing each other. They just did not care if they were acting a fool in front of customers they were in their own world. They were jumping up on beams, racing each other etc. also when I went in to see my movie there was food all over from the previous viewing so we had to sit else where. They hadn’t even come in and clean before the next movie start. Let’s not start with the bathrooms. What a waste of my money I feel. I won’t be coming back here!

Wonderful theater this is! 😁I think alot of people 😴 sleep on this theater! Just so you know, the seats are leather recliner seats just like the AMC. The 🔊 sound system is sooo on point! The 🍿 popcorn is so good! As of recently, after you pay for your popcorn, you then proceed to the dispenser to self serve yourself!! This is 🙌🙌 high five in my book, as this make for a short time in line. If you haven't checked out this awesome theater, please do! 👍👍

We went to see The Color Purple the day after Christmas. The crowd was not overwhelming but it was noticeably busier that usual. We got in line at concessions, and were the 3rd waiting. We waited and when the lady in front of us was served and we went to step to the counter, the young man at the counter told us we needed to get in the next line. If told when we walked up we would not have minded but to now have to get in another line, literally behind people that had just walked up was frustrating. No explanation given. We moved, as we had no other option if we intended to still get popcorn and drinks. While waiting, the young man walked over to the side, leaned on the counter, and pulled out his phone. Wow! We went to the fountain drink area, it was a mess! Spilled soda everywhere. 2 machines had several soda flavors with no syrup and only dispensing carbonated water. Lids and straw paper was strewn everywhere. A little attention in the area would have solved the issue. There were plenty of workers there walking around. Management desperately needed to direct the young workers.
